She is most known for her extensive career as a celebrity fashion stylist, lending her creative talents to legendary soul singers like Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin to chart-toppers such as Jay-Z, Toni Braxton, Usher, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Chris Tucker, Ciara, Keri Hilson, Maxwell, The Fugees, Nas, T.I, Omarion, Ginuwine, LeToya Luckett, Musiq Soulchild, Janelle Monae, Dr. Dre and more. Her own personal style, which she describes as “Clean lines, simplistic and minimal,” has worked the same magic for her career as it has for her clients.

Her love of fashion has transformed the looks of many celebrities, but through her foundations Oakland Natives Give Back and Kile’s World Foundation her abundant love for giving back has impacted the lives of many in the community. Tameka co-founded Oakland Natives Give Back in 2007, a group that gives backpacks, school supplies, athletic shoes, other Back to school necessities to children in underserved communities. They also focus greatly on improving truancy and graduation rates in her California hometown, driven by the passion to serve and give back to families in the community in which she was reared.

The Kile’s World Foundation a 501c(3), established in March 2013, intends to offer comprehensive art education to children ranging from ages 10‐17; focusing on music, performing, fine and applied arts.

The Foundation offers art-based camps with multiple workshops including general instruction in the areas of acting, singing, dance, painting, illustration, music production and digital media. The foundation wishes to cultivate an environment where developing artists can explore their artistic interests with the guidance and support of our mentors. Kile’s World Foundation is poised to eventually open a magnet school with an emphasis on music and the arts. The desire of Kile’s World Foundation is to give young artists the priceless opportunity to be taught and encouraged while developing their skills with great leadership and support. Kile’s World Foundation was founded in March 2013 to continue the legacy of her late son Kile Ishmael Glover. Kile was a prodigy who loved, created and exercised many forms of art. He acted in stage productions, wrote, produced and performed music and he was a budding visual artist; painting abstract art, designing CD covers for his own music and photography. To honor Kile, Tameka plans to carry out her son’s well-laid legacy by fulfilling the blueprint that he set with his infinite devotion to the arts.

Kile’s World’s Mission Statement: “Gifting children with endless possibilities of creative endeavor through applied, fine and performing arts.“

Aside from her love of fashion and giving back to her community, Tameka enjoys to travel the world! Above all else, Tameka Foster Raymond is a mother of 5 boys, who are her pride and joy and daily motivating force.
